In spiro

Updated: Aug 12

It was when I received a lomilomi treatment in 2008, that I felt I retrieved a piece of my soul and regained connection with my spirit, through my breath. My inner child, my spirit, in my breath, in my chest. It's why I like to hold myself like this, now and then. (More about this can be read in my book The Call for Divine Mothering.)

The Latin word spiro, means to breathe. And therethrough, we can understand how spirit is perceived through our breath, just like our spirits enable us to access a higher wisdom and become inspired. To become more creative, just like children naturally are. Alas, we can perceive the Holy spirit also through our breath. What ignites our passion and keep our inner lights burning.
