I found this image fascinating and thought I'd share it. I like taking photos when I am out walking and let that be my inspiration. This makes me think of how reflections in mirrors often show the opposite, and how this perhaps also is true for people. When we mirror others, are we then showing their opposite side and how can we change this?
To be one, alike, is what we long for, I believe. But this is only true at the depth or our core, when it comes to finding a sense of belonging. We don't need to look alike for that. We need to be alike, share the same experiences, emotions and beliefs. But instead, humanity becomes lost in appearances.
Our collective effort must therefore be to aim for authenticity. To let others be safe enough to be centred and show their uniqueness instead. And to belong by this.
