Much of my first book "The Call for Divine Mothering" takes place in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2004 and 2005. It was then I felt I was shown hope and light towards living a life with more faith and happiness, after my Mum had died. It was by acknowledging my saving graces, I began to define what love is to me 

One of the men I described meeting was Jesse, a guy from Minnesota who had been to Denmark for a couple of months and started working as a fisherman in Alaska in 2005. It's why I refer to him as "my favorite fisherman" and not to resemble Jesus, although Jesse was one of the first persons I've met who showed me his faith in action and talked about it openly. It was how I came to approach becoming a Christian, besides falling in love with him back then (and reconnected with in 2008-2010). Now you can all see who Jesse is... And remember: Reality always triumphs made up stories, so find your own!
