Child consciousness

You may have read posts, and in my first book, about reclaiming the "inner child". Is that the same as being childlike? No.

We're normally varing between being the adult, the parent or the child, in our interactions with others, and thus take a stance accordingly within our relationships. The school of this in psychology, is called "Transaction analysis". Becoming aware how we communicate helps us understand the dynamics of our relationships, to help improve.

Having contact with our inner child is more subtle. It means that our Higher self is in charge to assist its integrated expression, with things like creative play. That we listen within, and acknowledge all our needs with love.

Enlightenment isn't about becoming a certain way, it's about being consciously aware of our own behavior and our thoughts. Then we can choose better and lead our own lives.
