A couple of years ago, I wrote "breathe in love, breathe out peace" on my facebook profile as an update. I wanted to try that when I meditated as a continue of breathing affirmations as described in the book "Ten Zen Seconds". To carry out in the world in my everyday life. And to deepen my understanding of chanting mantras and their benefits.
Now I have come to the conclusion, that when we live in absolute presence and peace, we have this ability to choose which type of energy we wish to send out to the world. The absolute stillness we can feel is peace, but that means no action. Love however, requires action, a deliberate try of mustering compassion and forgiveness, even in the moment.
If you let each word really feel what it means to you, you can find that tone within, that energy, but breathing in and out with the same. So, by focusing on that word that represents what you wish to send out or be like, you will become one with it. Say the word joy and feel its meaning. Therethrough you now can remember what joy feels like and focus on it. Where in your body do you feel it? In your heart!
