Using our five senses

All appreciation of life comes through our five senses. It's how we practice mindfulness and it's how we can use nature as our inspiration for our art.
One of the senses we often tend to forget when we are out walking, is the touch. We see the beautiful colors, we smell the scent of flowers or of new cut grass perhaps and we hear the birds sing. It's however by our touch we also learn the nature of things.
Next time you go for a walk, try touching the sand, the grass, the leaves and the bark of a tree. It's the touch that can connect us.
