What is love?

Just like so many, I too believed in romance the way it's portrayed in Hollywood, when I grew up. In my first long, serious relationship, in my early 20's, I was so disappointed of my boyfriend, who never wanted to say "I love you", to me. For five years! Moving on and looking back, I totally see that he did love me of course. He also had said that he doesn't like saying that due to a bad memory. Nonetheless, I wanted, and expected, roses and romance. I did get a huge green plant once, and another time, something planted into a glass-pear. Both lasted long, but was it romantic?

So, parallel to my studies in Workscience and Organizational Change, I did my own private studying of life, especially after my mother had passed away. What is then love, I asked myself. I decided that it must consist of lots of ingredients. It is those that I refer to as "The keys to Paradise" in my book "The Call for Divine Mothering". You can read more about them here, and more in my book, with examples.

What is love to you?
