We think something. We feel something. And we say something. Often these three are not the same. We might not say how we feel and instead think of something else. But, when these three are in alignment, we communicate with purity. We have a pure channel. This is essential for dancing Hula, as taught to me by my Kumu Marian Ka'ipo Park. And essential to our relationships, to life!
How do we then become pure in our communication? First, we must understand how our emotions are formed and which intention we hold. Second, we must not censor "bad" emotions. They are all true when we dare to express them.
To be pure, thus, is to communicate our intention and own it. To let it flow through us, as one.
