I started writing on my next book, a guide to become more creative. Here is my preliminary outline made into a table of content. Underneath, I share the draft for the introduction. And this time, I hope to find an agent, a publisher, and an editor, so it can become the bestseller it deserves.
INTRODUCTION: STARTING POINT
The little elephant is alluring me to like it on Instagram. It’s just a baby, and so utterly adorable, I can’t but help wanting one to cuddle with myself. At home. In my own hand. Then I realize, a baby elephant can’t be so small that it would fit in my hand. How can there then be a reel with one just like that on Instagram? Made by AI of course, Artificial intelligence. And directly I’m faced with the dilemma: How much should we be allowed to alter our perception of reality? What if lots of children think that this is how small elephant babies are and look like? What if it even becomes an incentive for a researcher to genetically manipulate one to become so small? Have we then not overstepped our boundaries?
If we assume that God is the Creator of all things, is he part of the creation of AI as well, or is everything beyond Adam and Eve totally man-made and up to us to either destroy, or to rescue the world?
Regardless of the outcome of this development, we can all celebrate the ingenuity and imagination that is behind the creation of the reel of a baby elephant, small enough to fit in one’s hand. That ability to come up with ideas, should be embraced and channeled into something serving us all. How do we then do this, the best way?
This book aims to become your guide to become more creative, whether for content on your social media profiles, for your own enjoyment at home, to find a profession, or to start your own business with an invention. Here you can explore tools and mindset, understand what you need to become more creative, and how the creative process works. Let’s dig in.
