A marketing campaign or a smear campaign?

After I first had written my book in 2007, about how I found Hula and learned about living Aloha in Hawaii, I intended to get it published in Swedish. In 2008, I was looking into building Telluselle Living Center either in Malmö or in Stockholm in Sweden, but found nobody interested. Instead, I began feeling sabotaged and my career came to a standstill, including not getting any regular job interviews. I therefore translated my book into English in 2009-10 and returned to Hawaii, to see if I could start my business there instead. There, I published a small letter to the editor in a local magazine, as well as an excerpt in an online magazine called Conscious Dancer. I also developed my business plan for Telluselle Living Center and had hoped to build it in San Francisco come 2011 or so, upon doing OPT and/or an exam paper for any organization there in need. But instead, the university stalled my transfer of credits and I later became deported.

After returning to Sweden and recuperating somewhat, I first self-published my first book in 2013, but gained no interest. I went on a meeting with Companion, an agent for starting up cooperatives in Sweden and began looking into building Telluselle Living Center here anyway, but gained no interest.

I came up with an idea to make a garland of flowers made from a bamboo rod and got help to make a sample, but not quite what I had in mind for large scale production. I compiled my blogposts in 2014 about my ICE detention and thought for sure that it would gain lots of attention, including because of my report to the UN, but absolutely nothing, but for an article in Hawaii Free Press. I received a call-back for an interview with a Swedish evening newspaper and had a scheduled interview through Skype with AP, but oddly both cancelled on me, without neither re-scheduling, nor explaining. At the same time, I was going to get my comment on a Harvard Business Review blogpost published in their magazine, but that too became cancelled with no explanation.

Then in 2015, the smear campaign began. First by the gay entertainment journalist Alexander Erwik, whom I've never known and never met and never had any interest in, neither him as a person, nor any of his clubs. And then by the Swedish yoga teacher with celebrity parents Malin Berghagen, whom I've never known and never met and never had any interest in. I had just read her blog and found it suspicious that she so often wrote something similar to me or seemed to comment on something I had written about, but covertly, that I questioned. At the same time, the stalking had escalated into break-ins into my apartments and rooms, wherever I moved, so for sure, I thought the Swedish news would be all over me, with a stalker following me all the way to Honolulu even. But nothing.

In 2016, I focused on applying for regular jobs but got no job-interviews. Instead, the same Swedish yoga teacher smeared my name again in the evening news, possibly to ward me off as a possible competition in the media for attention for my books. Or to not be found guilty of her paraphrasing and plagiarism attempts. At rhe same time I began suspecting Rachel Brathen of the same.

In 2017, I edited some of my books and retried for various media to become interested, both through requests for interviews and with my own suggested columns and op-ed's, both for Swedish media channels and American newspapers and TV-stations. But nobody was interested in how ICE treated people and how the UN had found their arbitrary detentions despicable.

In 2018, still no job-interviews, now going on 4 years in a row and no media interested in my books and business idea either. After going to Germany in late summer, I contacted newspapers there and in France, but got no replies. Meanwhile, the Swedish news defamed me some more, but the court refused to try the libel.

In 2019-20, I stayed away from Sweden as much as I could, first in Germany and then in Portugal. In Frankfurt am Main, I was offered a regular cleaning job, but couldn't get a tax registration number, even though I'm a EU-citizen.

In 2021-24, I worked mostly online with freelance assignments, mounting to less than part-time, but still a worthwhile income. I wrote another book and luckily was featured in the Portugal News, after giving an interview through Zoom, but having to follow up on it several times. I asked to sit at a local old warehouse and coach young adults using it for their creative pursuits, but was turned down by Stockholm City.

In 2025, I published a new little book about creativity and set out to make a podcast with regular interviews of various people working creatively in their professions, but couldn't even receive an answer from the studio that I asked to use, where I live. And again, nobody in the Swedish media or in the British that I contacted, even bothered to reply, neither about my samples or to be featured. I began working online for US companies again for an AI-model, but was abruptly hindered from continuing after I had discovered mistakes they had made. Twice.

Attended a 6 month program for unemployed, the same I've been applying to work for, which experience I later used for my thesis.

Now in 2026, I discovered another Swedish yoga firm using the Hawaiian word Mana in their name, likely too taken out of context from my blog. I sued them but lost, with a judge pretending it to be seen as a fantasy word. So disrespectful.

I began making my own little podcast from home instead and decided therefor to keep it in English.

I've come to the conclusion that I have applied for at least 1000 jobs altogether the last couple of years, without ever being called to a job-interview, even as I have both several educations and much previous work experience. I had a month-long gig, similar to what I used to do as a 20's something, but again it was for an American company, not a Swedish based here. (Photos show just the jobs I've applied for this year. Add ten times the many altogether.)

I re-wrote my thesis in Working life science and got it approved and should be able to happily rejoice in that I at least now got my Swedish Master's degree, which I do, but they call it a Master of Science, which it isn't of course, but a Master of Arts.

I applied for ESTA-clearance with CBP to go back to the United States, but was denied, even though it's been more than 14 years ago I was deported after the Immigration Judge had ruled Volunteer Departure. And I can't even log in to my account at the US Embassy in Sweden, to apply for a visa.

Can there be something right, once at least?

Would I been able to sell more books, if I had been featured in media again? Would I had been smeared and unemployed?

Why is it a problem for anybody, anywhere in the world, to allow me to sleep during the night in my own little apartment, cook my own food bought at the local grocery store, go to work, and the come back home again?
