A sea of fern

Now that summer has arrived in Stockholm, Sweden, everything is lush and green, lilacs and jasmine are seducing me with their scent, and the wild roses are inviting the butterflies. All the birds are singing their harmonies in the forest, when I enter.

I take deep breaths and slow down my walk sometimes, to become fully present. A sea of fern lifts my spirit, and my oxygen level.

Fern is sacred in Hawaii. Seeing a variation of them here too, makes me feel connected with an invisible bond. Majestic!
