This meditation came to me as part of my healing journey from various physcial ailments, as well as learning how to appreciate my body better after my mother passed away. Enjoy!

Begin by laying down on your back on the mat. Take a couple of deep breaths and let yourself relax. Then, we're going to give attention and appreciation to all our body parts!

Notice your feet. Wiggle your toes, point and flex. Think of how much your feet carries you during the day. Thank you feet!

Notice your legs. Tighten and release them with a stretch. Think of how much your calves helps you walk every day and how your thighs help you to sit down and stand up. Thank you legs!

Notice your hips and pelvis. Squeeze and release. Breathe. Think of how everyone's life begins from the power of the pelvis, Let the energy fill you. Thank you hips and pelvis!

Notice your stomach. Put a hand on it and feel it expand when you inhale and draw back inwards when you exhale. Think of how all your energy and food is digested here. Thank you stomach!

Notice your chest. Let yourself feel vulnerable and loving for a moment. Grow your compassion and think of how your heart beats and circulates your blood, while your lungs keep you breathing. Thank you chest!

Notice your throat and mouth, Yawn and relax your jaw. Think of how much your teeth help you chew your food and how your throat enables you to talk. Thank you throat and mouth!

Notice your face. Squint and relax. Think of how much your eyes, nose and ears help you see, smell and hear. And how your hair warms and protects your head. Thank you face!

Notice your back. Feel your spine against the mat. Think of how you're an upright human because of it, and how your posture can show the world who you are. Thank you spine!

Notice your arms. Move them a little. Think of how they help lift things, hold and hug others. Thank you arms!

Notice your skin. Think of how it protects your body and enjoys touch. Thank you skin!

Notice your hands. Close your fists and open your palms. Think of how you use them for everything from eating to writing, to caressing. Thank you hands!

Take a deep breath and stretch out your legs and your arms above your head! Feel your presence landing in your body more. Exhale.

Thank you body!
