Practicing without soreness

Thankfully, I've been able to take classes in Isadora Duncan dance technique through zoom, again this summer on 6 occasions, 2,5 hours at a time. And without becoming sore! I have also kept doing my own 1 hr practices to a video weekly, throughout the year, besides yoga.

I've understood through my own experience, how much a good night's sleep before and after helps, just like not practicing every day. I go for a walk first, to get fresh air and my blood pumping.
Eating well both before and after is a must. My lunch before practice, consist of for example gluten-free pasta with broccoli and tofu, or quinoa and tomatoes. And for my dinner afterwards, I like to eat a heavier meal with more protein, such as chicken breast and rice, or smoked salmon and boiled potatoes.
Most of all, it's a matter of pushing my body more gently through the motions, that it now recognizes better.
How is your practice going?
