When was the last time, you felt bored? Oh, what luxury! These days, when we can scroll 24/7, or land exhausted at home, after another round of ambitious practices, whether spiritual or physical, work or pastime, we most likely have even forgotten, what it feels like to be bored. At least I have. To be bored, one must have one's needs met, have one's chores done, and be rested. Are you? Boredom then opens the door for a wonderful opportunity to explore and dive in. It becomes the space for creating something new and purposeful, preferably with the light of child's play.
What can you do? Do you have any secret longing? Do you dream of going somewhere? Would you like to try something new or pick up something you used to love doing? Is there something that is out of order and needs fixing or getting organized? Or is there someone you haven't talked to for a while, that you'd like to reconnect with?
If you feel like you don't have the time, or don't know the answer to any of these questions, chances are that you live under too much stress. Then, getting bored should be on your to do-list, your goal.
