Portugal is an inspirational place to be for anyone interested in design, especially exterior, with its rich history of tile making. Likewise, one of the world's greatest explorer was of course Portugese - no wonder I also feel more creative here again, thank God!
I take little notes in my book with cork covers and scribble down ideas, like I used to in Sweden (and in Hawaii where I made a banner pattern) before I was stalked, slandered and sabotaged all the time. One of the things that strike me as interesting are all the patterns with symbols that also seem a little alike the ones navigators used in Hawaii. So, a couple of weeks ago, I came up with this one: A modern cross for the man who walks on water, arriving through the ocean. Waves and wall.
