Two days ago I was given the gift of a Hula-video, with a song I have danced to in 2010 at Halau Healing Hula in Honolulu. Such a gift! I had just written a blogpost about Tree-meditation on my other blog (You can read it here too.) and googled the name of the song to find more about the Native American symbolism, when I noticed a Hula class scheduled in Germany the same day for this song!
After contacting my new German Hula-sister, she graciously shared her video and written down choreography, so I now can repeat and relearn it 😀
As always, gifts of Aloha stirs up my grief, but also moves me and releases it a little. It's like opening a door to a special room, to Hawaii, to love.
